Noroof came about as a format to think about architecture, ideas and how they engage everyday life. The kind of thinking that occurs in design, when making and observing happen together, has a unique ability to reveal knowledge about our world. This approach to research isn’t quite “sheltered” by our culture’s perception of scientific inquiry. Design thinking has an uncanny ability to draw things together that are poles apart.
